The nationally acclaimed artist, photographer and writer Bonnie Lautenberg will talk about her life, and her exhibition at the Jewish Museum of Florida-FIU with Susan Berg Pasternack, the Executive Director of the Museum. |
The exhibition is titled Lady Liberty: A Bonnie Lautenberg Retrospective, in honor of the role women have played in championing freedom. The solo museum show celebrates powerful images of women from two decades of art by Lautenberg. |
Spanning her multiple series of photography and conceptual art, the women in these works are admired by Lautenberg for their spirit of freedom. The exhibition features her headline-grabbing portrayals of the Statue of Liberty confronting some of today’s most challenging issues.
